I'm thinking they will still keep the MetroCard around for single rides and special passes like yours. The same would probably go for TA employees who use MetroCard passes as employee IDs. -- Please use all available doors...you have 33 to choose from.

Like my dad. As the PM of a construction project working with the TA, they gave him a photo ID/Metrocard, although his project should be ending shortly.
