| I agree lower, much much lower, prices will curb piracy tremendously. In the music industry artists recieve pennies on the dollar for each song, so even if songs are sold for a mere 10 cents in a direct marketing structure, the artists themselves will still make tons of money. Personally I have been boycotting the purchase of CDs for years now, I don't think that will ever change but, if mainstream music was sold on the order of 25 cents or less per song I think i would be quite happy with that. |
