Rent.
It's a download to the existing line of Motorola DVR's (and in the future SA & Panasonic DVRs).
You'll have your standard DVR service (around 11.95 a month) and then you can opt in for deluxe DVR service (possible $3-7 more than the standard DVR service). They will add the code to the billing system and you will get the new Tivo firmware downloaded to your DVR. |

comcast does not let you buy current digital boxes in any form, will not be likely that you would be able to by the comcast tivo box that will be offered. |
