<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1487606"><b>xenophon</b></A> : Clearwire currently uses a pre-WiMAX version that is fixed.  It's not like the mobile 802.16e WiMAX that Sprint is using, but Clearwire will be upgrading to 802.16e and roam on Sprint.<br><br>Mobile WiMAX has many improvements over pre-WiMAX.<br><br>Things are sketchy with Sprint now that the CEO is kicked out, but I suspect mobile WiMAX will still get rolled out, just at a slower place than planned.]]></description>
