Speedstream 5667 Bridge or DHCP

Hello everyone,

I've bought a Speedstream 5667 and my internet provider told me that I should configure it Bridge or DHCP but since it's not their Modem they can't help me configure it.

And I have to confess, I don't know nothing about it, I'm more in mechanics .

Any help is appreciated !

What is the Part Number of the Model 5667 Modem that you have?

There is a 5667 "Bridge Only" ADSL Modem and there is a 5667 "SecureRoute" Modem/Router.

060-5667-XXX fill in the last 3 numbers to replace the X's

Hello Doctor Olds !

Thanks for your help ! the part number is: 060-5667-507 it's a "SecureRoute" one, yesterday I tried to configure it with technical assistance from the provider, everything seemed fine between the modem and the server but the communication is desperately slow between the computer and the modem leading to timeouts.

I tried a friend's modem, a speedstream 4060 and that works fine !

The 5667 "SecureRoute" is covered in the FAQ.
