yochinaman posted : So I cancelled via their website. The website also tells you to call them to arrange for cancelling of the long distance plan. So after about 50 mins on hold i get through to an agent. He already sees that I have put in a request to cancel the internet service and there is nothing else can he do for that. The long distance plan can't be cancelled by him, it needs to be "hijacked" by another LD provider. Great, waste 50 mins of my time and phone battery power to tell me you can't do a lick for me. THANKS.

I call Bell up and suck down their "no fee" $0.25 / min plan.

Let's see if they keep charging my CC.

anon posted : All I can say is good luck because I heard from other forum that they will keep charging you even though you've returned your modem. Best thing is to cancel your CC right NOW or change the number.

In fact, I would like to know if you are not happy with their cable service or not.

anon posted : Hi niccolo,

I'm going to cancel my 3web service as well and possibly return the modem. Does anyone know what they charge? I thought at one point I was supposed to own my modem after renting it for a year, but they seemed to have changed their policy.

Anyone here ever successfully return a modem? If they don't provide us with instructions, how can they expect us to return the modem?

anon posted : Hi all,

I cancelled my 3web service yesterday after my internet had been down for about a week - and three hours on hold with technical support and no response.

They are supposed to send me instructions about how to return the modem I was renting, otherwise they will charge me for it. However, I received no such email.

I am worried they will charge me for the modem. And because I am unable to get through to them at all, I don't know how I will avoid this charge. I have already faxed them and left them a message on their corparate line.

Has anyone else had this problem - any ideas?
