[General] Diagnostics question

Hi;

How can I methodically diagnose the cause of incoming calls not making it to my trixbox?

I have a Trixbox 1.2.3, and a problem getting incoming calls through my sip trunk provider.

My SIP/trunks are registered, and allow me to make outgoing calls. I can make and receive calls through the asterisk box using my alternate provider gizmo/sipphone, but I cannot receive calls through my main provider trunks.

I currently have my asterisk jury rigged, configuring my main provider DID to forward to my free IPKALL number, which is forwarded to my gizmoproject SIP number, from which I receive incoming calls.

Technical and configuration information:

Asterisk: Trixbox running on dedicated linux system.
Trunk registered with SIP/DID provider, shows as registered in TRIXBOX flash panel, and on provider website, allows outgoing call. For incoming call, my provider CDR shows call as unanswered, no CDR on my asterisk log.
ATA: HT386, registered on the asterisk server.
Asterisk system is behind firewall, which never was a problem before, and making the asterisk box the DMZ host did not solve problem.

Has anybody had a similar problem, if so, how did it get resolved?

Jan
