Usually providers make their ETFs several times the monthly price. The ETF RCN is using may not be enough to serve as an effective deterrent to leave, especially if other providers pick up on the cash back thing that Bellsouth had been running (you get $150 back for subscribing to X). the ETF is just free money to them. its not like you get to keep the equipment when you cancel.
