The term CUSTOMER proprietary information....it belongs to the customer..you talk about an invasion of privacy. I'm just thankful for the post and immediately opted out of such BS. |

It should be the other way around, in a perfect world. But selling this info to third parties would be too annoying for Verizon if they had to get permission from every customer to do so. So, why not just make it so the customer has to take action to protect their privacy and the problem is solved.
