2 edits | Is it the firmware or the box??? I would like to see some interest in getting feedback from current users and fixing NOW KNOWN quirks and issues. I am speaking of issues with the box itself that won't be addressed with the IMG upgrade. Ones such as the previously mentioned reminder issue. The overlapping recording that shouldn't require the choice of missing the last minute of one program in lieu of viewing the first minute of another on a different channel. This comes up if you happen to be home and viewing while the scheduled recording takes place. I am not sure whether these quirks are the fault of the Motorola box or the Verizon Firmware ported to it. I did not find issues such as this with the Scientific Atlantic box with a previous cable provider. I am sure there are other quirks that drive other subscribers nuts. Any takers. |
