There were numerous changes here are only the more important things.

It allows IrfanView to paint lines, circles, arrows, straighten image etc.

How to install IrfanView PlugIns?
1) Download all PlugIns, see below
2) Click on the PlugIn file (irfanview_plugins_XXX.exe)
3) PlugIns will be installed into IrfanView "PlugIns" directory
Note: A normal IrfanView version includes the following (most important) PlugIns:
Effects, Paint, Icons, Mpg, Slideshow-EXE and Video.
1. You can download ALL PlugIns as one large EXE (recommended):

This remains one of my favorite programs. I even registered and sent Irfan some money.
I use an older version tho. I stopped upgrading when Irfan unfortunately started including 3rd party software.

- Option to support IrfanView by installing Google Toolbar and/or Google Desktop Search
He emphasizes that it's "OPTIONAL!" but this is something to be aware of. |

- Option to support IrfanView by installing Google Toolbar and/or Google Desktop Search I'd prefer they (and all the rest who do it) didn't do it, too.
They do, however, put them right out there in plain sight where they can easily be un-checked. No 'custom install' selection required first or anything like that, in the manner that some installers attempt to hide them. |

The one thing that keeps me from using this program as my default viewer is the Thumbnail Viewer. I hate the fact that every time I use the Thumbnail Viewer I have to search for my picture files. I wish it had favorite files list like Faststone. Regardless I downloaded the latest version. I'm an update junkie. |
