It is good that the house has finally got their arse out of their heads and extended the ban for another four years. Hopefully the Senate will follow suit and the temporary ban signed into law before the ban expires on the first
But the question is, with so many representatives voting for it, why not create a permanent version of the ban? There is obliviously big support for the temporary ban on both sides of the fence, at least in the house. What is preventing the Congress to make the ban permanent?
Hopefully if the temporary ban passes the congress can work on a permanent broadband tax ban and pass it before the next deadline on November 1, 2011. -- True Happiness Must Come From Within |
