[TB] So who stayed and who got out of teleblend?

Just wanna know what percentage of those who signed up with TB that decided to call it a day and and those who thinks there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but it is a freight train coming at you..

That reminds me. I'm due to renew my EZ-Pass for the Lincoln Tunnel automatic tolls.

My girlfriend cancelled and went with voicewing in the first month.
Meanwhile her brother kept TB and he says it's been fine. It's funny how their experiences were so different.

I am staying with TB. It has been working fine since Aug. 15th, which is the main reason I'm staying.

Their monthly rate is also not bad along with a very competitive international rates.

On the other hand, it is risky to stay with TB as they don't seem to have a replacement for the gizmo. I hope my gizmo will last long enough.

After getting completely wrapped around the axle reviewing different companies, I called it quits and went with teleblend. Hey,my phone works, I get my emails, etc.

I stayed with TeleBlend and I am happy with their service. My call quality is better than it was and my only issue was resolved in a few days. For $15 I can't complain.

Last week our family's waiting came to an end. TeleBlend finally decided to properly resolve our 6th or 7th ticket and established our first dial tone (incoming and outgoing) service.

Getting an honest effort to respond took just under 3 months from our first purchase request to resolving the problem. We both (TeleBlend and me) had a LOT of wasted effort with calls and emails because they simply never did what they said, nor would they make a tech who could look at the server settings available.

The solution was a very simple server setting change to only one field, the same as the initial suggestion I made in our first call to support in their first week of operation. In the end it was solved via email.

The source of the problem was a SunRocket error; unimportant until Teleblend took over and then would not resolve the problem for the lines we enrolled online.

No issues have been noted with serveral incoming and outgoing calls during our first few days of service.

As a family with multiple locations/homes involved, we enrolled two lines and dropped four lines with TeleBlend due to their pitiful response. Since July, we've also established several other incoming/outgoing lines with other companies. When our tribox is operational, we'll probably try a couple more companies. We are now in the processs of porting one of the 2 TB lines and for now plan to leave the other in place to see if service and price present a stable value, or not.

So we are in both camps; we have stayed and gotten out of Teleblend.

I jumped ship for the CC-Vonage offer in August. I did sign up with TB after SR's demise to protect my number. My friend could not get into the CC-Vonage deal (he is a slacker) and is still with TB. Lately, its been OK for him.

Are you having problems with your ATA, or did you just hear that we do not have ATA devices for clients. Just curious.

I stayed with Teleblend after their 'imminent shutdown' notice for SR accounts. Aside from the silly lack of integration between the SR and TB site, and a couple days of downtime shortly after my switch, all has worked well.

Now, I don't use my VOIP line for much - it's a second line for calls and faxing - but when I do use it, it works. And I really like the 'deliver VM messages via email' function. I wish my TMobile account would do that.

The biggest thing I don't like about TB is them resetting my 'auto bill' status. I really, really don't like autobilling. Email me when payment is due and I'll pay it within the week!

I agree about that auto-billing and have had a trouble ticked to stop that open for ever.

Now the ticket is closed.

I have not received a notice of resolution so I guess I will find out this billing period.

If I get auto-billed I won't be happy either..

Count me as 2 bailed. I got out rather quickly because of poor service.

My mother stuck, er, tried to stick to TB, but they never could get dial tone, and couldn't port her number. It was ported to SR right after they went under and just...vanished. Now she's trying with copper, and guess what? They can't seem to port her number from...wherever it ended up. Lots of finger pointing. No actual, you know, progress.

Bleah.

I tried Teleblend for a few weeks and gave up when they disconnected all the non-paying Sunrocket users and I lost all incoming calls. The Teleblend ticket was closed out as resolved, without even contacting me, when the issue was still unresolved! This is our only phone.

I had initial trouble with Sunrocket a year ago that took a couple of months to sort out. I really didn't want to go through that again and switched to an established VOIP provider.

Transfered to net2phone, was up and running in less than 15 minutes. Not one glitch since joining.

I'm honestly surprised that so many people stuck with Teleblend; but others may have have got service as well (I would not have been bothered to switch if it worked)

I stayed with TeleBlend. Good call quality; all the features I need; low price. No regrets.

I had one small issue (couldn't connect to one specific Florida telephone number) but that was resolved -- thanks to the TeleBlend techs who participate here.

My first week with TB (the first week in August) was spotty - No dial tone one minute, can't get incoming calls the next minute.... Then no nothing! I opened a ticket, made calls and got no resolution. Fortunately I used a single use CC # to sign up so I had no problems going with a different provider. It took TB 6 weeks to figure out that I was gone, and I am sure that had nothing to do with my ticket and all to do with the fact that they couldn't bill me for a second month. I went with an established VOIP provider but it took until 9/13/07 to port my number and get me up and running. I had to pay a porting fee, an activation fee, this fee and that fee... BUT, I have not had a single outage since going live. I miss many of the SR features that my new provider does not include in its "13 Free Features". But at least I have reliable phone service and my TIVO can now phone home.

I did not like TB. Therefore, I did not sign up with them.

I had SunRocket for 2 and half years and after they closed and TB pulled the plug on August 5th I moved back to Qwest. So, I could have my original phone number back. Now, I am porting my number to Vonage because of their new rate plans (International Plan). Today, I received the adapter Motorola VT2442 and going to plug it in as soon I go home from work and start calling Unlimited to International.

I disconnected my phone and Gizmo at the end of one month with Teleblend. If they had showed any signs of improvement I probably would have stayed.

Now, two months later... I can login at Teleblend and still view my account which appears to still be active! In fact, they are STILL adding service fees to my account.

I've never experienced such lame business practices!
