 | Does any one use them? If they are anygood i will switch to them while they fight the riaa. I currently keep two usenet providers and two internet connections.
How do they compare to say giganews? Or usenetserver.com?
The #29 unlimited account for giganes getting kind of tired hwever now that I am using compressed headers through them the header downloads have been going 3x as fast. |

Most of the news providers have the policy that they do not monitor content, but if your a copyright holder and you notify them of illegal content they will remove it. Thats all the dmca laws require.
The turning over of the posters information would require a court order for each offense. |

The RIAA may win the rights to heaven as a part of their damages!
In a statement, God blamed his legal loss on the lack of lawyers in heaven. |

Re: Does any one use them? said by mworks:Usenet is as old as the internet Actually, Usenet predates the Internet. Originally, Usenet servers would phone each other at regular intervals (say, once a day) and exchange Usenet traffic using UUCP (Unix-Unix Copy Protocol). |
