Well, it looks as if Time Warner reversed its position regarding the NHL Network in the Buffalo market. This was in Alan Pergament's column today 10/17/07:

It looks like Time Warner in WNY will be adding the NHL Network shortly. The Buffalo market will have more hockey choices in ever before with CBC, MSG, Sabre HD, NHL Network and the NBC games. For the real hockey fan, you can buy the NHL out of market package on digital cable.
