Spoken like someone who doesn't have one in front of their house. You don't have a right to fast internet at the expense of someone else's property values.
You people are acting like having something ugly and having nothing at all are the only choices. They're not. It doesn't take a genius to figure this out. These companies don't have to be such a**holes about this.
Around here the boxes are going in fairly unobtrusive locations, and some of the equipment is going underground. A little coordination at the local level is all that would be required. There is no reason that the local communities should not be able to have a say in this.
