| Standardize, so you can Monopolize... I really see this is EA trying to ensure they get more control over the games.
I think a lot of Companies want full "up-stream" control of their game so they can decommission, or remove games they want to replace with new ones.
I don't know why... but older games are still fun even if they don't look cool.
My fear. Monopolize the distribution, and you control the conception.
