That being said, I have no major issues with the data or phone services except for the two or three outages due to equipment failure. Phone service is more or less the same compared to "traditional" copper+POTS, no major improvements in sound quality.

Fort Wayne, IN | But, why put that "nothing nice" in this thread? There are plenty of threads about DVR issues. But, count me as one who has none. We've had FIOS TV for almost 2 months, and the DVR has recorded everything we've wanted it to, the PQ is outstanding, there are more chnnels than anyone could ever find the time to watch, the Verizon installers were great (and the new cabling inside and out is rock solid), FIOS internet is outstanding and super-fast (Verizon with MSN Premium, Verizon Rhapsody, Verizon gameroom, etc. is wonderful) the phone service is tremendous, and the wireless is terrific and reliable. True, FIOS TV doesn't have Space Ghost or Dukes Of Hazzard in stretched-out HD lite, but I can live with that. Mark F. |
