Re: my u-verse died! It's a national outage. Right now I have about 12 local channels that I can still watch, 1/3 of which is in Spanish (which I don't speak) and 1/3 of them are religious nonsense. This leaves me with almost nothing to watch since football is on today. Useless.
As for trying to call in and complaint: don't even bother. I waited on hold for 35 minutes only to talk to a guy who sounded like he was coked out of his gourd -- he told me that most of their support tools were down and that he'll be calling me tomorrow to arrange for a credit. I'm sure that'll happen. 
This is yet another nail in the coffin for my U-Verse service...
