Re: [Free] Ashampoo Burning Studio 2008

Can we install over the previous 2007 version?

Don't know, La Luna. I dumped 2007 when 6.5 was made available for free. I do remember at one time having versions 5, 2007 and 6.5 onboard simultaneously so I imagine you can...but you might end up with two active versions!

Yeah, I guess I'll uninstall 2007. No sense taking a chance.

Thanks for the alert!!

Wimp. Fraidy-cat. Smart play, Luna! U-da-babe!

(I sure do like the new logo better than v. 7's.)

Ashampoo 2007. Whatever. The one with so much orange fire in it that it hurt my eyes.

7.01 is an older version as well. I am using 7.1.0.(The site calls is 7.10) Could they just be offering an earlier version for free in hopes to sucker you into upgrading to the latest and greatest? Again!

Good of them to make this offer, but in that case I'll just stick with the 6.5 version that I like quite well.
Thanks for that info, Dave!

Yeah, free is good.

It's not like I really need yet another burning app though.

So I am figuring it is better to just stay with Burning Studio 6 until they offer the 7 free? I don't need to run them both if this newest one has less options.

Thanks for all the info, everyone!
