| [Equipment] Inbound connection delay
I have an Innomedia 6328-2re (BYOD) with "Beaglephone" (aka Nitevoip).
Whenever someone dials in to my phone and I answer, it takes about 2 seconds before the caller can hear me. I can hear them as soon as I answer. Any thoughts on what might cause this and how to fix?
I have the device between my modem and my router. The codec is set to PCMU/8000.
I tried switching servers from "newyork-2.vtnoc.net" to "newyork-1.vtnoc.net" but that didn't have any effect.
Any help would be appreciated. This is just one of a couple of problems. |

@comcast.net | I checked the thread you referenced and it talks about VAD (voice activated ?). As far as I can tell the Innomedia 6328 does not have a VAD setting. Any other thoughts? |
