20/20?

Hopefully this will set the standard for other companies to follow, but I doubt it. I have fiber service through a local ILEC, but the closest competition is Time Warner with a paltry 384Kbps or 512Kbps upstream speed.

This is likely to one-up the cable companies who can't come close to matching the upstream this will offer until DOCSIS 3.0 is deployed.

Kudos to Verizon for this if it is in fact the official unveiling of a 20/20 tier.

Sudoku??

Must be those online games they have been talking about.
They're finally adding the unlimited online Sudoku package for $12.99/mo.

Re: 20/20?

Being that I'm in your same market, I second your kudos.

Having to live with 2 choices of 512kbps upstream speed is annoying. I can have Bellsouth/AT&T at 512 or Time Warner at 512. Whee! I ended up with both and load balanced them. Thank goodness for Standalone FastAccess from Bellsouth - no land line required.
