|  Anyone switch from Astound to Comcast/AT&T yet?
Since my last posting, The internet has gotten extremely worse. I am paying the 10MB up/768k down price, and my service runs at a pathetic 2MB up/460k down. Its really sad, esp. since I spent 3 good years as a RCN technician all up and down the peninsula and the service was never this horrible. Isn't it sad that Comcast or AT&T are my only options to Astound's horrible internet service and their 100% non-existent customer service. RCN Peninsula R.I.P. |

| I find that at this point my speeds are the fastest that they have been. I'm logging 10.5/750ish. I was thinking about Uverse as they have knocked on my door here in San Mateo, but then I see a fair amount of dissatisfaction in the various forums that I've looked at. Right now I am in a wait and see position. |

You might want to post your problems in the Wave Forum, Wave techs do read what is posted.

After Wave purchased Astound Broadband in the Concord, Walnut Creek Area the same thing happened in this area. I complained for over 1 1/2 years before things got fixed. Recently free Wifi has been offered in 95% of the City Concord. This may have played a roll in improving service in my area for the past two months.
You might want to check out speed tests for Astound.
