Good observation but I still have to believe there is more to this. Something to really kick the cable companies in the teeth. Since Cablevision offers more than just bandwidth for their top tier service, VZ will need to do the same or better to attract those customers. |

And at 11:33 EDT am in Maryland, 20/20 is NOT available on the verizon web site.
Wait, the site just went "unavailable" OK, guess we need to wait until 2 PM to confirm. |

Yep, its the 20/20 "Symmetrical Tier" service. Available only in NY, NJ, and CT. There is also a new "High-speed Tier" of 50Mbps/5Mbps.
And the usual "Mid-Tier" 20/5 and "Standard Tier" 10/2.
Notice the lack of 5/2. |
