kicker join:2001-03-07 Pittsburgh, PA | Given the name of that URL (verizonwebcasts.com/2020), it is probably the announcement of the 20/20 symmetrical service. Oh well. |

 | reply to DJMADfx Thanks for the link! |

Since Cablevision offers more than just bandwidth for their top tier service, VZ will need to do the same or better to attract those customers. |

 | reply to Scoot_NJ It will be the 20/20 package, because I can order it online right now for $64.99/month which if you need the upstream speed is a darn good price. |

 | I want that so bad! But no FIOS on my street yet. But I did see some black coiled wire on a pole yesterday. Looks new. I can only hope! |

 | reply to OuterEdge And at 11:33 EDT am in Maryland, 20/20 is NOT available on the verizon web site.
Wait, the site just went "unavailable" OK, guess we need to wait until 2 PM to confirm. |

MidakDoctors suckPremium join:2002-02-26 Yonkers, NY | reply to OuterEdge I was able to see it online yesterday but only as a change to my exisiting service. It was not on the front page when you check your number. |

kicker join:2001-03-07 Pittsburgh, PA | reply to DJMADfx Yep, its the 20/20 "Symmetrical Tier" service. Available only in NY, NJ, and CT. There is also a new "High-speed Tier" of 50Mbps/5Mbps.
And the usual "Mid-Tier" 20/5 and "Standard Tier" 10/2.
Notice the lack of 5/2. |
