[NEWS] COMCAST "BLOCKS" NET TRAFFIC

IN this article from the Fox News website; »www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,303618,00.html ; Comcast admits to stopping file sharing on their network.

They DON'T CARE what type of file you are sharing, could very well be legitmate and legal to share, but they will block you nonetheless.

At the same time, "spokesman Charlie Douglas confirmed that it uses sophisticated methods to keep Net connections running smoothly. "Comcast does not block access to any applications, including BitTorrent," he said.",

"It involves company computers masquerading as those of its users......Each PC gets a message invisible to the user that looks like it comes from the other computer, telling it to stop communicating. But neither message originated from the other computer — it comes from Comcast."

I am almost impressed that Fox News is taking the liberal side of this story.

I expected them praise Comcast for smacking down the illegal files traders.
