Going from Xplornet KaBang to Xplornet Wireless

I have been using Xplornet satellite for about four years now (first Hughesnet, then Telesat). We just got notice that Xplornet has been retained to bring Wireless high speed Internet to our community (rural Milton, Ontario).

Besides being a bit cheaper, is there much of an advantage in going Wireless over Ka-band satellite? I presently get the full 1.5Mb/s download speed and am very pleased (except for the monthly cost).

latency, cost, less strict FAP policy

Those are the top 3.

No Weather effect (rain fade, etc) is another big one.
