Except you can bet that Door #1 will be riddled with hurdles and pressure-sales tactics to steer you to Door #2. Nothing overtly against the rules, but just barely within the (industry lobbyist written) rules. With those tactics in place, Verizon can claim to be supporting an open network while still not *really* supporting it. In fact, they can then show Door #2 sales figures and claim that a closed, locked down network is what consumers actually want. |

Tulsa, OK | yes, and that is because the technology industry has made lemmings out of most of the public. It is more of a social disorder than anything.
