Supposedly with a new generation of connectors, 10Gbps Ethernet will work over CAT 5e, or more likely CAT 6.

100m/328ft between repeaters.

What is new to patent, they already have proven this data rate standard over CAT 6 twisted pair copper.

Now find a FTTC provider that has outside plant equipment to support it.

100m/328ft from tap to home is a very realistic 10Gbps standard.

Should I ask, where are we now???
