| Music tax We've had similar situations like this before. Every blank tape you bought (cassette, VHS, beta, etc) had a bit included in it to goto the RIAA.
I'd be willing to pay a few bucks more a month (not $23) to consume all the music and video I wanted, how I wanted it at ultra-high bitrates with no DRM or usage restrictions.
Course, if we had that and all the RIAA lawsuits disappeared we'd have nothing else to bitch about. OH wait.... |
