I'm having an issue with a phpBB3 install that I just can't figure out.
When I add categories and forums the posts layout looks like this:

They should look like this:

When I first install the forum, it creates a generic category and forum. That first category and forum have the normal layout. Every category and forum I add after that has the odd layout. If I enable topic icons in the newly added forums the layout is correct and it adds the extra space for the topic icon. If I disable topic icons it goes back to the odd layout. But that first forum that was created during install doesn't have this problem.
Also, if I delete the default first post that has instructions about permissions in it from the first forum, even that forum then switches to the odd layout.
Anyone have any idea what's going on?
