KoilPremium join:2002-09-10 Irmo, SC | Ehh...no way Every month whether I used it or not? Hell no.
Let me pay on a month to month basis to subscribe and the music was high quality, DRM free, and a wide selection...maybe.
Set the priceline closer to $10 monthly with my previous comments included...even maybe-er
I always thought that they should put all music on some list and every track starts out at like .50 cents per download, and from there track it like the stock market. The more a song is downloaded, the more its worth and the more it costs to download....after it reaches a certain price, or gets played out, its price starts to drop.
There could be some artificial inflation by companies or bands or even fans I guess in this model...but the consumer would still be able to determine if it was worth it for them to buy that track or not.
Ehhh...who knows. If someone patents that and makes themselves rich....at least buy me a beer! -- I want to die in my sleep, like my grandfather. What a great idea! But even better because, with the artificial inflation under control, the bands would get instant feedback on their music.
Now THAT'S what it would take to improve the quality of the music that's put out.
Well, unless they're driven by the lowest common denominator, like TV is these days.
On topic: NO WAY!! to mandatory. NFW to $23!
Actually, my $13 monthly to Rhapsody is acceptable for the access I get to music, including the old rock they sometimes add. When they do, I play it and record it with Goldwave, in case they disable it again.
Hey, for radio quality delivery, what did you expect? | | |
