A&E HD There and now not there?

Not that I'm a fan of the A&E HD channel, but tonight as I was flipping the HD channels, A&E HD was not there. I looked at the Guide and it wasn't there. Did it happen to any of you? Just curious.

I'm in the northern Jersey area.

There's all kinds of rumors of new HD channels, the new guide, other new stuff, maybe it got lost during all this (if anything actually going to happen).

A&E HD is Ch842 right? It's gone for me also.

It's still up in MD. I'm starting to wonder if the rumors may be true.

Don't get your hopes up. Channels coming and going happens sometimes for no apparent reason.

While flipping channels, I noticed A&E HD is missing. I'm in Northern NJ. The V* rep did not mention any other reports of it disappearing from other users but then I only noticed while channel surfing. Not much to watch on that waste of HD space.

(I'm in North Jersey) On my FiOS Motorola box it's gone. On my Tivo3 it's still there with nice CSI in HD. (I missed a lot of the older CSI's) Must be a guide problem on the Motorola boxes. Everything else is OK (VOD, etc). Even if I tune into it manually on the Motorola box it's not there.

Reason #37 to get a Series3 TiVo or TiVoHD: You'll actually get all your FiOS channels.

Got A&E HD back last night. I'm planning on waiting to see how good or bad 2.0 is before I switch to Tivo. However, if a channel I actually watched disappeared, that would automatically turn me to Tivo.
