Unable to dial toll free number using Net2Phone
For some reason, I always get a busy tone when I dial a toll free number using my N2P account phone. Specifically, I am calling Airtel's (www.airtelcallhome.com) toll-free number: (877) 247-4047. It was working until a couple of weeks ago, but then it stopped. I can dial this number from my cell phone (or any other phone), and it works just fine.
I contacted N2P customer support, and they tell me that it's a problem at Airtel's end, although I am not sure what could cause it. I have also tried dialing the number with the '1' prefix.
Does anyone know why or is having similar issues?

Try calling other 800 numbers. Do they ALL misbehave ?
Can't think of any 800 nos.? Try 800-444-4444 it says your number then asks to connect to business or residential for service of MCI account. It is all automated, I call to test line, Hangup anytime you tire of using it for test call.
I am always praying for better answers.
I can call other 800/877/866 numbers. I tried calling 800-444-4444 as you suggested from my home N2P phone line, and for some reason it detects that I am calling from the 201 area code, whereas my area code is 678. I wonder if that is the issue.
