I'm sorry.. our Comcast Shill Hotline is "...currently handling other shills, please stay on the line and a representative will be with you soon. For faster brain washing, please have your cranium ID ready for the next available representative."
Must be a busy day at the call center... none of us know what we're supposed to say yet!

Serious.. I don't give comcast a free pass all the time. Trust me, I've lost my voice with them a few times in the past. I also give phone support. BOTH where warranted. I just personally never been abused by cable and in turn, have spent a life long period of phone making things harder and harder simply to make a simple phone call. So if you want to know where my bias against phone comes from... go talk to the guy at phone who invented the contract, cancellation fee, and all those little annoying fees they love to live by.
Funny you bring up AT&T and Dish.. because in this case, I supported them. I guess it's amazing how people's views vary based on the situation, huh? In that case I support at&t/dish for the charge of the receiver - but STRONGLY disapprove in the cancellation fees for contracted customers, or at least not suspending the service until the customer gets situated again with their life. -- "Complaining is the least path of resistance for the self-serving, the lazy, and Im told its a womans prerogative..." |

As for the ATT/Dish thing, I supported their $300 charge BUT at least wait for the family to get its check from the insurance company (since it can take a while for checks to be cut.) |
