WiMAX

I expect someone in the WiMAX game to acquire Sprint. Maybe an Asian telcom company or even Google. A cable company could work too though if they can optimally fit in wireless into the business model.

Sprint is becoming more of a wireless _data_ company. Voice will eventually just be one of many services, not necessarily the primary use.

I spend far more time on my Sprint EVDO card than I do using voice minutes. Am also now doing VoIP over EVDO, which works well in some conditions (Avaya). Should be more consistently usable on WiMAX.
