please. this policy is probably one they pulled out of some 20 year old manual.

It's not like the lower portion of california burns homes to the ground everyday.

probably not. You know this bbr crowd. In 15 mins, they'll be calling for the death penalty for the rep.

Ho shit! Someone made a slip up at their job! BURN THE MOTHER F%*@ER!

Seriously, lighten up. Do you go back to McDonalds and demand an employee's head when your burger is missing the pickles?

You do know that fires in California aren't all that rare to see yearly, right? Or the fact that we live on fault lines either. Of course they have a disaster policy. Any business operating in California (or anywhere else for that matter) would be stupid not to.

No...
But I get TIRED of the 90% of these employees who forget to take the damed pickle off of the burger! It seems like people are too willing to forgive mistakes these days. Me included.

I get tired too...but then I just open up the burger and flick off the pesky bugger. Problem solved.

...and I really don't think anyone can be "too forgiving" these days. Having the ability to have some honest compassion isn't necessarily a flaw. Its the assholes who can't sympathize with anything genuine that worry me.

What makes you think the CSR was a female? Also would you want to be fired for a mistake. This person probably has a family to feed and bills to pay just like you and I.
