| OMFG I cannot be more staunchly against it. The government is already very involved in our lives as it is. They keep logs of International phone calls, so they know that I called my uncle in New Zealand. Driving records are less concealed than they used to be. I don't advocate being a bad driver, but my point is that it's a lot harder to "disappear" than it used to be. Indeed, the only way I can "pull a Houdini," so to speak, is to hope that the people I want to purge from my life are too lazy. In some ways it's good since murderers are more likely to get caught, but it's bad for people who just might want to start over due to personal issues.
The government has absolutely no business knowing what my thoughts are. Indeed, if they knew I would probably "disappear." A lot of other people will "disappear" as well.
I'll stick to my watch, PC, and my trusty Western Electric. |
