| Verizon Voicewing Not Compatible with Satellite TV or Tivo?
This is text from the Verizon Voicewing search feature of FAQS: "Does VoiceWing work with Satellite TV or DVR (e.g. TiVo) service?
VoiceWing will work with these services. However, you may experience troubles ordering Pay per View through your Satellite TV provider. Or you may need a wireline connection to set up your DVR. We recommend you contact your provider for any special updates or direction offered when using a VoIP phone service."
---- Well, i just hung up with a Verizon Voicewing tech rep and he states that this answer is wrong and that my Dish Network connection will not work on their VOIP service. There is something seriously wrong when a tech rep doesn't know how to resolve an issue like this or when website info is wrong. I have no idea who/what to believe now. Very frustrating. |
