| Expose darkness to sunlight--- and it will flee screaming
This is why exposing typical Corporate scummy business practices to sunlight (By websites, blogs, insiders, and the Press) is so useful.
Companies pull all kinds of "we don't care jacks**t about our customers--- Just give us the money and STFU..." all the time...
But the free press exposes such practices to sunlight, for all to see, and the companies flee screaming from the bad P.R. because (Rightly so) they know how damaging it is to show their true nature to the public.
So, they back down, apologize, and cut the victim some slack. Meanwhile other victims, who's stories don't make news, still get shafted. Business as usual.
Now imagine the future when there is no forum or way to get such issues exposed, due to Corporate control of all medium. Then such things will be not only normal, but everyday occurrences.
