I didn't see any Mac OS alternatives.

Here's one:

Explorer.

Sure, its archaic. Sure, its not the best. But it always gets moved to my Start menu under IE after I fresh install or get a new Windows computer.

What can I say, maybe I like the torture? Nah, just always what I used, and back when I did tech support, you had to use what came with the OS sometimes-so you had to know the default stuff by heart anyway.

Just the way I've always done it.

Informative poll.

I voted Windows Explorer. Tried others from time to time but always seem to settle on the old standby.

I have a plastic file folder for all my files.

Aside from that I use Windows Explorer.

Nice 3.1 shot BTW

Great poll, tahoejeff!

I use Windows Explorer and a Program I got from GAOTD called Advanced File Organizer.

"Advanced File Organizer is a cataloger for all disks, which are recognized by your Windows system. This includes diskettes, hard disks, CDs, DVDs, Memory Stick card and any other storage devices. Advanced File Organizer can be your DVD organizer or CD organizer, if you want. It helps to create a catalog of your disk collection. Using such catalog, you can easily find all necessary files and folders without the need to insert disks into the drive."

In windows 99% Windows Explorer. I also use TreeSize Free and VisaVersa Free.

In Linux it varies based on the desktop. One File Manager I was surprised see it's not listed was Midnight Commander.

Nice poll!

I voted as other as I use the free version of Xplorer2. While it doesn't have all of the features of the paid version it's a nice file manager program that I much prefer to Windows Explorer.
