I think it all depends on what frequencies Wimax will operate in.(?)
I doubt ordinary consumers will be able to get the more powerful transmitters though. |

I know intel wants to put wimax chips on the motherboard.
Does anyone know if everyone will be able to buy wimax routers or is it just going to be restricted for max profit and controllability?
Like they could just restrict it to oem partners and ISP's with huge payments for license/lease and just sell us recievers. |
