Have all my home wireless appliances accessable from 30 miles.
Video conferences with customers without going through an exchange.
Close to instant communications with friends and relatives.
The whole town where I live is only 15 miles across, so wimax just about covers it double over.

Wimax should be just like wireless with more range, the usefullness of this tech is being crushed by greed and security paranoia. | |
