Wimax should be just like wireless with more range, the usefullness of this tech is being crushed by greed and security paranoia. |

Why not? I can think of a gazillion uses for it right now. Have all my home wireless appliances accessable from 30 miles. Video conferences with customers without going through an exchange. Close to instant communications with friends and relatives. The whole town where I live is only 15 miles across, so wimax just about covers it double over. -- Do ye, quieting in your bosoms your strong hearts, Who of many good things have had your fill even to surfeit, With what is moderate nourish your mighty desire; for neither will We yield, nor shall you have all else as you wish.
