What the hell did I say in my post that was incorrect? The point I was trying to get across is that until Alltel meets E911 standards (E911 capable phones), they are going to be denied USF monies.
MY first phone was a bag phone. Although large it was the best phone I ever owned. Signal in the middle of nowhere with a full signal. If I am not mistaken the new phones are .5W and not 1w.
reply to Big Dawg 23 I want a fixed car phone, or a bag phone...my dad has one STILL in his Nissan. Never uses it, but it's there and yes, I've found them to be way better and more useful than the portable counterparts.
