Whadayouknow - it worked!

So then went forward to 1.10 - still wouldn't take my settings immediately after upgrade (as before) so changed the subnet again to 10.0.0/8 and was able to upload my settings. But as I said earlier the guy that stuck the US 1.05 in his British unit stayed at 13 channels.

stlgera, I would try the AU version but according to the Version text the only thing different between it and the 1.1 version is a fix for some specific modems, so for the sake of playing it safe I am not going to try it but I am sure someone else will come along and give it a go and we will see if the channel numbers follow the Version type.

Sure wish there was some straight forward method of measuring the power level out, but the only way I know to do it is by "try it and compare" the results. Which is a reasonable method but for posting to a forum it is pretty darn subjective and the answers would probably vary all over the place depending on a myriad of test condition variables.
