cchhat01 : Hi I'm ready to build my next gen PC to get in line with whats out in the market. I'm going the Intel Core 2 duo path (or maybe quad).

I want two recommendations at this point to keep the PC silent.

1. Power supply that silent with about 500W-550W of power.
2. Heatsink which is extremely quiet and does the job of keeping things cool.
3. A case that will help with the above two setups to help my pc keep cool n quiet.

If I can get these things worked out, I'll probably have most of my problems solved. I don't plan on overclocking. I'm not really a gamer. I watch movies on my pc and often do a lot of conversion/encoding.

hope this helps.

regards,
Chirag
--
Chirag's Website
