| Re: Platinum got a good deal! I am amazed that Covad is still in business after their multiple bouts with bankruptcy.
It helps that they expanded their product line with line powered voice and traditional T1 circuits but I wonder the future will hold for them as a broadband solutions provider.
The last mile has always been the greatest challenge... I wonder if they will deploy wimax or some other type of wireless technology to over come that hurdle. If they did (and I think they might be the right company to do it), they could gain a lot of marketshare from the incumbent telco's and cable co's. |
