Why does this happen??? I had a similar problem once with an .avi file. It wasn't till I ran Spybot that I was able to delete it.

It is always malware???

PARADISE		  No ,it may be just part of the program [a driver,service,dll] that didn't close properly!

Usually caused by programs that are written poorly!
