| Will Viewing be Platform Agnostic?
Will the ability to view the shows be restricted to Windows Users or will it be available to Macintosh (and Linux/Unix) Users. The are a few shows/networks that tick me off by running an ad at the end of a show saying "If you want to see this or an earlier episodes, go to our Web Site" only to blow you off when you try to view the offered content due to you using a Macintosh not a Windows Machine.
IMO, the restricted access is IMPLICATE PERMISSION to use BitTorrent to gain access to the episodes so long as you are a Non-Windows users (or a Windows User with a version that the Network refuses to support). Either provide the content to all users (with only a restriction based on location [ie: US IPNs only]) or stop claiming that BitTorrent users are ripping you off to gain access to the content that you are providing to anyone with a Windows Machine. You can not have it both ways - It is either available or not available (not just available to those who use a Network blessed Operating System). |
