 3 to 5 and now to 10?

I had to bug them to upgrade me to the 5MB speed. I used to have the Cisco 675 and they told me I had to get the newer Westell for the upgrade. Well after I switched to the new equipment I did get a faster d/l (around mid 4300's) but my upload is not as fast (used to be 800+ and now in the mid 600's). I do alot of stuff over VPN for work. Is there any tweaks that can be done on these Westells (besides "Turbo TCP" setting) to bump up both upload and download speeds?
I have also seen on this forum about the 10MB speed upgrade. I live off of Hands Pike in N. KY, does anyone know when the 10MB rollout is going to happen around here. I was also wondering where the CO is over here as well. When this upgrade happens I am curious what kind of speeds I'll be getting....

I'm told the 10Mbps is coming by the end of the year in the Greater Cincy area, & there are sites(such as this one) with tools to look up the nearest co to your house.

I just hope it actually happens for you guys instead of the ol Cincinnati Bell routine of saying "yeah yeah its here in two months" then 6 months rolls by and they haven't done it.

If the bump it to 10mbit then ill use them along with RR.

3 years ago it was going to 8 any time now. So the number has changed to 10 and any time now.

This time next year they will be saying that it is going to 15 any minute while you all still sit at 5. Good luck. Both Insight and Time Warner have faster speeds today with speed increases rolling out today at least in Insight areas.

They've been completely redoing the lines all the way up to the green junction box at the end of my block. They were also messing around inside the box the other day (they had a tent around it). Hopefully what they're doing will help increase speeds here. From what I can see they haven't switched things over to the new lines yet (still disconnected on both ends). I'm still sitting at 1.65Mbps currently. We'll see how things go here *crosses fingers*
